KREI Concluded Agreement on Social Contribution Activities for Community Development

The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) on Nov. 19 signed the Agreement on Social Contribution Activities for Realizing Social Value with 14 public institutions in Jeollanam-do, Gwangju Metropolitan City, and Bitgaram Innovative City at KEPCO KDN. Through the Agreement, the public institutions in Bitgaram Innovative City decided to cooperate with one another for public interest and regional development through social contribution activities needed by the community.

Also, that day, KREI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the development of local agriculture and fisheries and rural communities with the Korea Rural Community Corporation, the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp., and Jeollanam-do Agricultural Research & Extension Services. This MOU aims to vitalize local rural communities through cooperation among the agriculture-related institutions.
