Purpose of Research
○ The objective of this study is to propose AI-based methodologies that integrate structured and unstructured agricultural outlook data generated from crop growth surveys and drone-based aerial imaging with meteorological variables. Additionally, the study aims to predict the final weight (yield) of specific crops in major producing regions and compare these predictions with actual data, thereby identifying ways to enhance agricultural observation data analysis.
○ The scope of the research includes organizing the data status and utilization practices of garlic and semi-highland cabbage collected by the Agricultural Outlook Center from 2021 to 2024. Using structured and unstructured data for garlic and cabbage, the study employs AI techniques to predict final weights and compares these predictions to actual values. The study focuses on Changnyeong County (the main production area for garlic) and Pyeongchang County (the main production area for semi-highland cabbage). Due to limited data, the prediction is restricted to the final stage weight.
