Purpose of Research
○ As advanced technology and agriculture continue to converge, the agricultural industry is expanding, positioning itself as a new growth driver. Since the high-tech agricultural sector is still in its early stages, it is essential to build competitiveness and establish an industrial ecosystem through proper policy support. However, the vague definition of the agricultural industry in the Framework Act on Agriculture and Rural Food Industry makes it challenging to secure a solid foundation for policy support.

○ The primary aim of this study is to redefine the concept and scope of the agricultural industry and, based on this, establish criteria for recognizing it as part of the agricultural sector. By doing so, the study seeks to provide a foundation for implementing support policies for the agricultural industry and offer essential data to determine the appropriate targets for such support.
