[Myanmar] Agriculture status and policies in Myanmar

In 2014, the enrichment and forestry sector in Myanmar accounted for about 30% of GDP, and the agricultural sector accounted for 70% of the country's economy. In Myanmar, however, agricultural productivity is very low compared to neighboring countries due to the backwardness of the agricultural industry infrastructure. This paper examines the agricultural situation in Myanmar and the agricultural policy for the government 's agricultural development.
