본 연구에서는 고령자복지주택사업이 농어촌 지역에 미치는 영향을 체계적으로 분석·평가하여, 농어촌 고령자의 주거복지 향상과 지역 활성화에 기여할 수 있는 정책적 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

Purpose of Research
○Korea entered a super-aged society in 2024, with the population aged 65 and older exceeding 20% of the total population. Rural areas crossed the 20% threshold as early as 2010, confronting the structural challenges of a super-aged society more than a decade ahead of urban areas. Older adults in rural areas face significantly poorer access to essential services such as healthcare, transportation, care, and welfare compared to their urban counterparts, and are exposed to safety hazards such as falls due to deteriorated and substandard housing conditions. The prevalence of older adults living alone or with disabilities further compounds the problem, deepening issues of housing vulnerability, social isolation, and care gaps.
