KREI's Center for International Agricultural Partnership (CIAP) visited the Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development, Mongolia's Ministry of Food and Agriculture, and Mozambique's National Directorate for Agricultural Extension on Jan. 26, 27, and Feb. 2 respectively, and signed the ROD for implementing the KAPEX (Korean Agricultural Policy Experiences for Food Security) program. Since 2013, CIAP has implemented KAPEX, an agricultural and rural development cooperation program commissioned by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. This year's partner countries for the program are Mozambique, Mongolia, and Indonesia.
KREI's CIAP is planning to conduct joint surveys on each subject with each partner country and to carry out workshops and training programs in Korea and the partner nations. Also, 3 participants from each partner country's related institutions will be invited to Korea and provided with lectures, field trips, and research support in the 6-month KAPEX Academy.
