| The KREI held a seminar entitled “EU Agricultural Policy, Major Trend of 2005, and Outlook for 2006“ on February 3, 2006 at Gyeongyeon Hall with Agricultural Ambassador to EU Kim Jong Cheol attending. At the seminar, Mr. Kim delivered a presentation, and said “reform in sugar trade, DDA agricultural negotiations and the direction for agricultural development between 2007 and 2013 will be the key issues surrounding the 2005 EU agricultural policy.“ In addition, he diagnosed that the pending issues in the EU agriculture include DDA agricultural negotiations, simplification and reform of common agricultural policies, co-existence between traditional agricultural products and GMOs, and the use and stimulation of the use of bio-energy, and he explained them by task. | |
