KREI President Oh Se-Ik delivered a presentation titled "Structural Changes in Korean Agriculture: From Decline to Growth" at a high-ranking Chinese officials' forum held in Beijing on July 6.
Following the presentation, President Oh held in-depth discussions with Chinese officials on ways to promote agricultural cooperation between Korea and China. The forum, which is held annually by the Research Center of Rural Economy (RCRE), is a gathering of high-ranking Chinese officials responsible for agricultural policy in China. Prior to the presentation, President Oh held in-depth discussions with top decision-makers of agricultural policy in China, including agriculture minister and vice president of World Bank, to discuss issues of mutual concern.
President Oh also met with the heads of Development Research Center (DRC) of the State Council and the Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy (CCAP) and agreed to expand cooperation in the academic field.
