The Korea Rural Economic Institute held a seminar featuring renowned international scholar Bruce McCarl from Texas A&M University in the field of climate change. The seminar took place over two days on October 25th (Wednesday) and 26th (Thursday) at the KREI seminar room.

Professor McCarl is a member of the 'Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change,' one of the recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.

On the 25th (Wednesday), the 'International Seminar on Climate Change Adaptation in Agriculture' was held at the KREI seminar room.

On the 26th (Thursday), the 'KREI World Scholar Seminar' was held, during which Professor McCarl presented on the topic of "Mathematical Programming for Environmental Sector Modeling: Why, How, and Some Examples" and engaged in a question and answer session.
