The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) hosted an international workshop on April 9 to discuss food security issues with the Netherlands' Ministry of Economic Affairs. KREI researchers and Dutch ministry officials including seven agricultural councilors (India, Vietnam, China, Japan, and Korea) participated in the workshop and discussed a wide range of issues, including grain production and food security in Korea and the Netherlands, overseas rural development, climate change and food security, and ways to promote research cooperation between the two institutions. * Photo news |
