The Korea Rural Economic Institute hosted a policy training for ten Ethiopian agriculture officials and affiliated researchers on `the policy system for research development and dissemination of agricultural technology.' The training, which was held for two weeks from Sept. 1st, was held as part of the Korean Agricultural Policy Experiences for Food Security (KAPEX) program.
 

The training, which consisted of lectures, field trips, and discussions, was aimed at spreading Korea's experience of developing and implementing policies related to the development and dissemination of agricultural technology and at strengthening the capacity of Ethiopian officials and researchers to develop and implement agricultural policies.
 

The training program was tailor-made with detailed contents that focused on seed development of major crops such as corn, rice, and potato for food security enhancement, livestock industry development, and efficient water management for agricultural use.
