 The US Embassy personnel including Mr. Kevin N. Smith, Minister Counselor for Agriculture, and Mr. Mark Myers, Agricultural Attache, visited the Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI), and shared concerns with KREI President Choi Sei-kyun on Feb. 20. The attendees of the two institutions particularly discussed the issues including agricultural trade between Korea and the US, rice tariffication, and an increase in the effectiveness of imported agricultural products’ place of origin certification. |
