The Korea Rural Economic Institute (President Kim Changgil) concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Konkuk University at the University’s Administration Building, August 23.

Through this MOU, the two institutions decided to cooperate in the following: researching to develop the agricultural and livestock sector; jointly planning and implementing international development and cooperation projects for agricultural and rural development in developing countries; jointly using educational and research facilities; collaborating in research projects for the advancement of education and research; and jointly holding academic seminars and developing community development policies.

KREI President Kim Changgil stressed the need for the two institutions’ partnership, saying, “Cooperating with Konkuk University, KREI will be able to come up with more effective policy alternatives related to agricultural and rural issues in the fields of livestock, internationalization and so on.”
